Calling all Teachers!!!

December 15, 2008

Dear Educator,

The New York Hall of Science is pleased to announce that we are in process of developing two exciting and innovative projects that involve distance learning and educational software programs for teacher enrichment.

We need your help in gathering information from middle and high school science teachers about their interest in online professional development, as well as interest in our Crime Scene Information Technology (CSIT) program. If you are a middle or high school science teacher please take our science teacher survey. Our teacher survey takes only 5 minutes to complete and would help the Hall develop future web-based programming.

If you are not a middle or high school science teacher, you can help us by taking a survey that is open to teachers of all subjects and grades. This survey seeks to gauge teachers’ use of technology both in professional practice and private life. Click here to access the technology survey for teachers. It will take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

We encourage you to participate in one of these surveys and forward this message to your fellow educators.

On behalf of all of us at the New York Hall of Science, thank you for your help and support.

Sincerely,
Chris Lawrence
